She is a qualified Solicitor Mediator with Resolution, the UK Family Lawyers Association.

Brid is also a founder member of Galway Collaborative Law Practitioners and is a Board member of the National Association of Collaborative Practitioners.

In 2009, she represented clients in 3 of the first 4 cases to be concluded collaboratively in the Western Circuit.

Brid has undergone extensive training in mediation and collaborative law. She is also certified as a trainer with the International Association of Collaborative Practitioners.
